Mt. Penanggungan is a 5423 ft (or 1653 mdpl) stratovolcano, located immediately on the north side of Arjuno Welirang volcanic complex in between Pasuruan & Mojokerto in East Java Province, Indonesia. We'll stand right after Arjuno/Welirang by reaching its peak in the morning and meet beautiful city lights galore surrounding it if we just wait for the night.
This is my first record to reach mount's summit and being a mountaineer. Really I'm a die hard newbie and having die hard trouble to go down - pardon me my mates.
My tip is you have to try taking photos the morning view from up there or right after sunrise on aprox. 06.30 a.m. It serves a magnificent landscape!
